Iwi

It started with theft, really.

Iwi is a lover of gemstones. She collects all sorts of chardonnay or bright citrine, reflecting her own blessings from the Lightweaver as a part of her. As a young dragon in her homeflight she never wanted, but there were always things just out of her reach that she desired. So she took to collecting without asking, borrowing with the intention of never giving them back. With her abilities to delve in caves and explore the snapper gained a reputation as an explorer and as a thief.

When it drew the attention of the famed snapper detective Agent Flutter, Iwi never knew that it would change the trajectory of their lives forever.

For several years they played chase; across the land sea and sky Iwi and Agent Flutter played cat and mouse as he tried to apprehend her and she made off with illustrious goods and beautiful gemstones crafted by such a magically imbued world. Neither had realized how deeply they’ve come to know each other - moments where they stopped being the ‘good’ and ‘bad’ to escape a truer, deeper evil, coming to another in a time of deep need.

After a while, Iwi found herself in the shadowlands wanting nothing more than to settle down. She was a tired girl, and when Flutter came to her with the laughable thought to arrest her she told him her feelings, her intentions. She had found peace with the clan here, and she wanted him to join her. The collection of beautiful gems and natural artifacts Iwi had used to teach the younger dragons and interested hatchlings about the world and the beauty of it.

They settled together, though Flutter is known to leave for days at a time with leads for cases, sometimes she comes with him, her deep love of the world still intact. At least now she asks if she can take things.
