Biography

Quote:
I'd be ever so grateful if you'd consider letting this dragon grow up and breed at least once before you decide to exalt it, as it's part of a the 100 Hatchling Challenge.

If you've bred Cleopatra for the first time, PM Zikul #12962 and I'll send you a little gift!

Thank you for giving Cleopatra a chance!
Cleopatra - Daughter of the Tide

It was during a particularly harsh flood, that Cleopatra's egg hatched where it was buried, deep in her mother's fur. She might have been the last to leave her shell, but she for certain was the smartest and strongest of the three. Already from a young age, she and her brother Amon learned how to swim and dive, even how to fly adequately in the heavy rain. They became survivors, strong and competent, with skills that would make them suitable to live in a harsh world.

That her oldest sibling, Ebonee, even lived through all of that, was amazing in its own right but, Cleopatra thought, it was an example of how vital solidarity also was to survival. She saw her mother's dedication to saving the little fae from a certain hatchling death, and was deeply moved by the commitment - both from her mother, but also from a stranger Spiral, whose generosity also played a great role in Ebonee's survival.

With all that knowledge and experience, Cleopatra aimed for nothing less than perfection for herself, as she was determined to one day become Matriarch - she knew, already as a teen, that she wished to found her own clan, and her teenage romances were of a serious nature, as she was trying to find the smartest and most adaptable, caring male to breed with. None of the ones in her herd fit her high standards, she knew, because she evaluated them all.

It was when season started to shift to a lush and safe green, that the thought struck her that maybe her mate didn't need to be a Tundra. After all, her father had not been a tundra - there were many other species out there, some of which were excellent survivors, and dangerous too. This revelation made her seriously consider leaving the herd to search the lands. Hopefully one day, when she was strong enough, she'd be able to set out.
