B I O G R A P H Y

As a young dragon, Erem also felt a strong pull to the divination of the elemental Gods, especially the Lightweaver, despite being an Ice dragon. With a sparkle in his eye and earnest in his heart, he studied how to become a monk. Now, he resides in with the Cave Dwellers, finding refuge in a small shrine that was appointed not far from the cave, where travelers can stop and pray. He is a God fearing dragon, yet has full faith in himself and other dragons as individuals.

When he was a young adult dragon, he swore an oath of chastity, bonding him forever as a servant of the Gods. Yet, this was no catch to Erem, as he is aro/ace. In his travels, it wasn't uncommon for dragons to flirt with him, and he always felt awful turning them down, but after his oath, he found it much easier to say "I'm sworn to the Gods" than to say "I'm not interested". It also helped in drastically lowering the amount of selfish, spoiled dragons insisting and invalidating his feelings.

However, Erem's whole identity is not determined by the Gods. As an individual, he enjoys music and singing. When he's not doing that, he is volunteering to help sick dragons and to pray for their wellness. He is also taking upon making stained glass windows. His favorite so far is one made to resemble his familiar, a Sunbeam Ursa named Vivid. Amelia likes to pop in to see his progress, as an artist herself.

B I O G R A P H Y

Regardless of his feelings about having a partner, Erem loves children. He finds their innocence and curiosity to be a gift from the Gods. Some of the other dragons call him a Father Hen. Because of this, when Saqhohorvutah wasn't able to take care of her five children, she asked Erem if he could take care of the hatchlings that weren't sold. He agreed and cared for them all throughout their childhood. He was devastated when the only son of the nest decided he wanted to be exalted to the Flamecaller, however, he finds peace in Petals finding a good home. He's never asked who their biological father is since Saqhohorvutah seemed very defensive about it. He also cared for Icarus and Clynis when they were young.
