A rumour says if you stare into Compulsions eyes you will have nightmares involving rabid villages

Compulsion is a nocturnal dragon that used to sleep in dark caves during the daytime. his glowing amber eyes can be seen from a far.

Compulsion was born into a rabid village near an active volcano, nobody had discovered this village for 10,000 years as they were really well hidden and dangerous to get to. Sharp rocks, deep thick ash and molten lava made it near impossible for travellers to make it near the village.

The village was quite sinister, acts of cannibalism and rituals on the young were done frequently. The village experimented on dragons they caught or bred themselves. these experiments put the dragons through a lot of pain and a lot of the hatchlings ended up with deformities or mutant aspects. The majority of dragons perished either due to the harsh experimentation, their deformities or respiratory problems from the thick ash the volcano produced daily.

Luckily Compulsion was born healthy, and was considered one of the healthiest to be born within the village. At just a hatchling he saw the true meaning of horror and learned how harsh life really is, he escaped one night and fled to the jungles and hid in a cave for a long period of time, never interacting with another living creature other than the insects he ate.
