As his sister is the mouthpeice, Kergan is the seer of the clan. he is able to look through the mists to see the future as it is meant to happen, and as it could happen. As he grew in these abilities he grew blind as his sister grew mute as she grew in hers. he also holds seat on the council, and major decisions must always pass though him, though the clan elder always has final say.
