Ruin
Frozen Darkness

Rage of the Icefield

Darkness. Ruin saw darkness. It never wavered and never began to brighten. Until one day, he reached out and broke it. A blinding light hit him in the face, and he recoiled back into the darkness. Once it was his enemy, but now it was his refuge. Ruin hid there for a long time before being thrust out into the light again, and this time he played no part in its attack. A Nocturne forced away the rest of the darkness, and with it, Ruin's sanctuary- until she left, taking her light with her.

Because of his perfect memory, Ruin was always an old soul. He knew the past and knew it's implications for the future. He traveled, learning more and more of the world. The moment he set foot in the battlefield he knew he'd be in there forever, whether he wanted it or not. He fought and fought, knowing he was destroying. But he liked it, he liked breaking things, and he knew that one day they'd be broken anyway, what's the harm in speeding that up?

The Destroyer

Ruin is a quiet dragon, and prefers to be by himself. He is cold and distant, as expected of most dragons who are of the Icewarden's get- especially Imperials. However, those who were close enough when Daitya was around, saw that the frost around his heart was thawing, that the dragon inside the cold facade was coming out.

With Daitya gone, he has withdrawn again, and only speaks to the wolf he keeps at his side- the wolf followed him from the Icefields, and refuses to be separated from the Imperial who proven to be pack.

Ruin throws himself into battle, utilising a mixture of melee, brute strength and cold, merciless tactics. His grief, his mourning over the departure of his mate fuels his anger, and it is the only emotion anyone ever sees with him- as such, not many of the clan are willing to fight at his side, worried he will turn on them. Upon leaving his old clan, and finding his way to Hewn CIty, he has softened, though still remains a lone wolf in his Clan. He feels in his element in the ruins of Hewn City, and likes to wonder these parts of the Light Relm. He is the leader of the warriors. His usual sparring partner is Valk, who has the same single minded tendency to seek out violence and destruction.

Mutations

He has the clan's endemic speech patterns- the same subharmonics, guttural sounds, precise diction and prominent glottal stops that is so astutely particular to their small ecology from their former home in the Wastes.
