═══════════════════════════════════════════ LUCIFER ; the devourer ═══════════════════════════════════════════ The way in which this atrocity upon dragon kind looks at the world is similar to that of her parental unit that returned with her in toe. Lucifer learned shortly after hatching that her 'mother' was not right in the head and neither was she. On more than one occasion she had to flee from her parent's gaze need she be ripped apart right then and there. In fact, it was the witnessing of her so-called 'mother' eating her sibling of the same name right before her eyes that snatched the innocence from her early on. Since then she has grown into a rather dangerous young dragon. The first victim was her remaining sister, whom she took to calling 'pet' for a while before things took a darker turn. Her sister was meek and unlike her remaining brother, Mercer, who equals Lucifer in ferocity...sweet Draculina had a soft heart and softer tendencies which included healing arts. Something that endeared Lucifer to her...but brought out the underlying predator that was in her nature. They would be playing together one eve out of the eerie gaze of their parents when suddenly the harmless game of tag became a fight for life. Lucifer had given chase to her sister but when she caught her...her claws and fangs knew nothing of gentleness. In that moment the sister would exchange one last look, Draculina's one of love and fear...while her sister's was one of love and violence. A screech— then silence. It was only afterwards did the voice of her mother and sudden awareness of her presence reach the hatchling. "Well done, my little one." Came the hollow words of affection as obsidian talons wrapped about the silver child and dragged her shaking form close. "You shall indeed grow strong...and make me proud. Now come along..." A shove from the massive claws and Lucifer would not so much as bid her sister's corpse goodbye as her parent moved her along. "We leave for fresh grounds, and fresh prey." Came the metallic purr of her 'mother'. | x |
