HISTORY
Little is known about Specter's past life, including his legal name. Years of searching, however, has revealed some interesting information. Once a private security officer working with Talon Core, Specter rose within the ranks and kept a stable job within the company for many years. There may be evidence to suggest that Specter was married and had several children, at least for a time. Due to Talon Core confidentiality policies, most information about employees and their contracts are highly secured, so little is known about the exact details of Specter's assignments. What is known is that Specter was involved in a "company incident" after several years of safely handling combat intensive jobs. The resulting "accident" left him without front arms and significant damage to his cybernetics. Specter's Vostora Access Code went inactive for several years and he was lost within the system due to the sheer size of the Vostora system and efforts by Talon Core to obscure investigations into the "accident". However, several months ago private internet boards began to mention a certain figure by the name of "Specter", and subsequent investigations are ongoing to determine the exact details of this figure's past. Specter himself has managed to evade both capture and investigation, and may or may not be connected to several recent serious crimes. Currently Specter appears to be a mercenary for hire who specializes in explosives and marksmanship, and accepts contracts purely on a monetary basis. Specter may have had possible involvement in several major armed robberies and is the main suspect in at least three cases of corporate espionage. Specter is also suspected to be involved with a local orphanage, at least as a part time volunteer or employee. Despite this information, the exact person behind the alias has yet to be pinpointed and apprehended because of the Talon Core cover-up. It is also worth noting that, at this time, the information about this figure cannot be totally confirmed to be true. |
