With a crack, she hatched,
Eyes shining brilliant with a gleam.
Her mother stared into her eyes
And saw her future with keen.
So she picked her dearest daughter up,
And knew her name would be Camellia.

One day she had a vision,
A calling from the gods,
Telling her that her daughter is in danger,
And must be protected at all costs.
Woefully she brought Camellia away,
Sending her off to another clan,
Where she knew, would be far from danger.

Camellia did a great many deeds,
Acting as her new clan's visionary.
But news came that there was a fire,
And her mother was dead forever.
Grieving, she hoped that her mother survived
Telling herself that she was alive,
Waiting somewhere, coming for her soon.
