Fifth generation in the line of Corvus, Lana possesses the Shadowbinder's gift of transforming herself into a crow. She tends to stay in her animal form as it blends better into the Shadow territory scenery than a large glittering imperial. Her assignment is to keep watch over a somewhat loyal Shadowclan, and in particular on a few suspicious characters: A supposed 'Swiftwing' female, A wily traveller and a 'former' hive creature.

Both the swiftwing and the once-hive tend to keep themselves apart from the other dragons...
