Aero These mechanics and mathematics - they bring me comfort when I'm afraid. Formerly part of Clan Goldwood's engineering team, Aero fled the clan during Mizar's coup like so many of its former inhabitants. He was glum about it at first, but the realization that Acadia is a trove of Second Age technological treasures lightened his mood considerably. His single-minded obsession has progressed Acadia's understanding of their home by leaps and bounds and at this point it's safe to say that you couldn't pry Aero from his newfound love no matter how hard you tried. Thanks to Aero's efforts Acadia is rather larger than it was when he'd arrived, on account of him convincing its leaders to clear away as much rubble as possible. They've even got refurbished auto-turrets now - although programming the things is still a work in progress, but they do work if you're fine with them indiscriminately shooting everything in sight. When he's not busy excavating rubble or trying to fix Second Age tech, Aero is often found trying to help anyone who will let him, forgetting to eat/sleep, or cuddling with Sally. As friendly and cheerful as Aero is, he is prone to fits of self-doubt and intense nervousness; the slightest hint of a fight will send him scurrying to cover. |
