Beatrix is one of the more interesting dragons in the clan. She trained under the rather unwilling eye of Larka's most impressive solo fighter, Monticello. He has successfully trained more exalted warriors for Larka's clan than even the matriarch herself. A once very young dragoness with stars in her eyes, now serves her clan in any way they need her to.

At first she had simply joined the clan to train and then move on to a higher purpose in the exalted lightning legions with her two hatchlings, who had traveled to the clan with her. However, from the first rough lesson with the brutal trainer, she was mystified by his skill and hung on every one of his words. She took every chance she got to follow the veteran into the field; in spite of having the required skill to move on to the exalted clans. Larka satisfied her determination to stay with the clan in hopes that she would train and become a stronger exalted dragoness to serve under the stormcatcher in time.
