Biography

Born in a flash of light on the edge of Emperor's wake, Teiyo is a demigod son of Lightweaver.

As he awoke, opening his shining eyes for the very first time, he knew not that he was already grown. He wandered, searching his surroundings for any hint of purpose, clutching his sword by his side. The landscape was vast and shaking, shaking more intense as time would pass. only minutes after he was birthed, he faced his first foe; The Emperor. He had wondered why the ground quoke, why the terrain was disturbed. A hulking figure stared at him, seemingly miles away- but it saw him. all three of... It... saw him. Luminax proceeded to charge haphazardly at him, seemingly tripping over itself. By the gods... it seemed dead! But it seemed akin to him at the same time. his wings swept behind him, daunted by the creature. He drew his sword and prepared for battle; and battle did he receive. Days past as local clans emerged to watch the horrific scene, a place where war once raged a millenia ago, a new war has begun. Blood dyed the yellow field scarlet- the blood of only two. The young god waged war with this beast, fueled by the glances of the clans from their ledges, as he could tell this beast had been baning them for long. He was determined to slay this horror and rid them of their torment. weeks past, and war still roared, tearing and biting and stabbing through the vast sea of sunsoaked grass. The beast was unwavering, but so was the young god. Great scars did they receive, although they would heal over time. The son of the Lightweaver finally managed to plunge his blade into the brute sheath he had been searching for- The eye of the middle head of the beast. It was much, much larger than him, as it threw him off of it in it's blind, pain enduced rage, depraved of the eye that the demigod took from it, it's mighty talons raked across his face and took his as well. An eye for an eye. Its claw impailed his left eye and scratched across the right. Teiyo roared in pain, clutching his face, so used to his eyes even after only being alive for weeks. With the creature slayed, or perhaps merely subdued, he trekked on.

He continued to roam the sunbeam ruins in search of purpose after seeing his old opponent awaked again after just days, deciding that this battle was un-winnable. as weeks turned to months, months turned to years. Years turned to boredom. He learned to use magic to see, and he found he could move things without touch. He had become familiar with the clans of the sunbeam ruins, he knew them all by name and location. But something, one day, seemed different. A new, fully developed clan touched down in a distant field. He watched from afar out of curiosity, and learned about the nomaic clan of Ede. This clan was strange, as many different breeds of many different flights found refuge here. A particular dragon caught his interest. A tiny female Pearlcatcher, who would prance in the fields while foraging for plants and bugs to feed the younger herbivores of the clan. She seemed not to be a mother, but very motherly to the hatchlings.

It was dark when he found her again one day. She was further from her clan than usual and she seemed lost, wandering too close to the Emperor's wake. He had never spoken to another dragon before, or spoken at all, though he knew how to. He approached her and helped her to get back to her clan. She asked him many questions and she seemed very excited to speak to another dragon. He told her about his eyes, what he remembered of his mother even though he had never met her, he told her about his battle. He told her he was alone. She offered him a spot in her clan, and told him that they could weave him a blindfold as a tribute to the lightweaver. He hesitantly declined, not wanting to burden her or her clan.

The clan was gone the next day. He had fallen asleep thinking of her offer, wondering what it could be like to be a part of a group of dragons. He was upset to see that their encampment was empty, but he did catch The she-dragon's scent at the camp. He caught a trail; westbound to unknown lands. He spread his wings and flew in search of the clan, happenng upon the land he would come to know as the viridian labrynth; a luschious green forest, with camps made up of wooden canopies and huts in the trees.

He found her, and learned her name. Junix. He joined their clan, and met more like him; the sons of the Flamecaller and the Windsinger. He learned more about himself through them, and protects the clan in turn, while Junix became his mate.
