B I O G R A P H Y

Loki is a genderfluid god/dess. Sometimes, they’re a female, sometimes they’re a male. Most of the time, they remain a male unless you get lucky and you see them as a female. He doesn’t really know why but his main goal and purpose is to spread trickery and stories. Sometimes, these stories border lies. Lies are basically fictional stories that you tell, sometimes without even realizing it. Many of the dragon’s pray to Loki or his brother, Aether, if they want good fortune on a certain day. The dragons pray that Loki leaves them alone on that day or give them a good lie to tell in order to get a job or to have good fortune. Often, Loki and Aether can be seen together and are often depicted as a package deal. Many temples that are dedicated to Loki have a small statue of Aether near it and temples which are dedicated to Aether often have a smaller statue of Loki near it.

T H E - C H O O S I N G

When Anusiris and Zeuos decided that they could no longer tend to their creation of dragons, and their original gods had separated and destroyed themselves, they picked 6 new dragons who were the best at their trade to become split versions of their power. At the time, Loki who was named Ereki, was a street trickster and stole things/pickpocketed many dragons. He was finally captured and brought in to custody. When Anusiris’ turn came to choose his 3 dragons, he asked the citizens of the land to bring him the biggest trickster and criminal. Before long, Ereki was brought in chains before Anusiris.”Take his muzzle off. I want to hear him speak.” Anusiris said as he brushed the side of Ereki’s face. The large guardian holding Ereki down carefully removed his muzzle. “Be careful Anusiris. He is very convincing. He’s escaped twice because he ‘convinced’ his guard the let him go.” Anusiris only nodded at the guardian and said, “Ereki of the Tangled Wood, I have heard that you are the best storyteller and trickster. Tell me a story.” Ereki thought for a moment. “Very well, I shall tell you the story of how I managed to steal all of the Shadowbinder’s game pieces.” Ereki proceded to unwind his long tale of how he managed to steal the Shadowbinder’s game pieces. “And that is how the Shadowbinder herself was tricked into losing.” He finished proudly. “That was some impressive storytelling Ereki. What would you do if you could do that forever?” Anusiris said slyly. Ereki blinked in confusion. That entire story had been a complete lie! He quickly recovered and smoothly said, “I would tell stories forever if I could Anusiris.” Anusiris grinned and touched Ereki’s shoulder with his tail. “Ereki of the Tangled Wood, you are no longer a simple dragon. You will be reborn as the god Loki Ereki Edohelm, god/dess of trickery and stories.” He called out as Ereki started to glow. The glow rose up to the heavens and his body blew away like dust.
