Age: A scattering of moons and a touch of juniper. Biography: They say that the artist is most skilled at depicting what they themselves have experienced. If that is the case, Nepeta is a regular prodigy. Fostering a strong love for magic, poetry and dance, this dragon has dedicated her life to the art of Hrim, an ancient dance technique that uses unnatural body contortions, slight magical manipulation of the limbs and air, and spontaneous fits in order to create a dance that strikes fear into the heart of its viewers. Through Hrim Nepeta has begun to counter her crippling anxiety, which often renders her mute at inopportune times. It is said that watching her performances can strike even the most battle-hardened dragon dumb with horror. Naturally, attending a Nepeta performance has been sort of a coming-of-age, prove-yourself ceremony for adolescents of the Mavenlarks. Mate to Verona, Nepeta met the young librarian when both were rescued by Mother Bitestrith as young hatchlings. While Verona is rather open about her past as a would-be sacrifice to the Shadowbinder under her former clan, Nepeta has not yet been able to confront her own, and has a tendency to shut down if questioned about it. Verona is the only dragon Nepeta has never had a problem talking with, even from the very beginning of their relationship. She is the only one who knows where Nepeta came from - and her lips are firmly sealed. She has a small collection of mice skeletons that she treasures. Her natural coat is as red as a freshly squashed berry and often gives her the illusion of being coated blood during a particularly striking performance. Lately, however, she has taken to using full-body makeup to change her appearance to evoke different reactions during different performances. Duties: Mainly dedicated to the research, practice, and execution of her dance performances. Occasional attendant to Sul'Ark, the clan's library, when Verona is unavailable.
