Durmarmu

Even though these two coatls are of Shadow descent, they are explorers of space. They chart every constellation, planet, meteor pattern, even naming stars that are newly discovered. The sister, Cosma, is the free spirit that flies to the stars and beyond while her brother, Durmarmu, is the one who makes sure she gets to and from the sky safely and records her findings, and she never leaves without her brother. One day while the two were searching, they came across a large inky blot in the sky and killing some of the stars. His sister thought it was a black hole, but with his level of intellect and anxiety, Durmarmu knew better. It didn't suck things in, it was like actual ink. It was too......alive to be a normal space anamoly, too violent to come from the Arcanist, too violent to be from the material world, it had a mind off it's own, it didn't even come from the Shadowbinder. Durmarmu must protect Cosma from this thing, even the secret of it's true identity.
