Pipsqueak comes from a massive battle, barely escaping with her life as a dragon barely old enough to fly. Because of her experiences, she wanted to take on a more positive lifestyle, falling in with the Crosswinds to learn under Ruriske's wing. She's an incredibly quick learner, picking up on Ruriske's magic and movement to follow her instructions to a T, even with lots of unspoken meanings. While Ruriske isn't afraid to snap and be brutally honest with young patients, Pipsqueak tries to soften the blow, keeping hatchlings and teenagers calm while she and Ruriske work and often defending them when Ruriske starts to lose her temper to avoid too many scathing words from the older Coatl.

Too much trust nearly cost Pipsqueak her life when she was fighting. As young as she was, she put faith into a strong looking Wildclaw, trusting her not to harm her as she tried her best to survive. However, it seemed the Wildclaw didn't see fit to let her go unscathed, as the moment Pipsqueak let her guard down she buried a blade between her scales. Left and expected to die, Pipsqueak managed to get away with her life in a game of opossum before finding her way here. Perhaps the Shadowbinder or Windsinger--or both?--had plans for her yet here in this new territory. She doesn't plan to let that second chance go to waste.
