♛
At first glance, anyone would assume by Ruari's name, that he came from a prestigious family; a high figure of sorts that was highly respected by other dragons around, but that wasn't the case. Ruari's life was less than perfect with the start of his birth, his parents, Kuro and Ori abandoned the young Coatl, forcing Ruari to learn survival skills in one of the harshest lands there was; the core of Wyrmwound. Along with his parent's abandonment, he had a brother, though he didn't have to suffer since a small clan adopted him after 4 hours. It didn't take long till Ruari was week old, traveling across his home plain, in search for someone to adopt him; that's when he found Genso. Genso was a Nature dragon by natural birth but resembled any Plague Dragon there was. Her strawberry colored wings with the gloom smirch that was painted over the dusted poison made her stand out, including with the Plague represented apparel and couple of other nick-nacks here and there. At the time, Genso was gathering some plants for Peridot to make a cure for the cold that was spreading to the other dragons. Sure Ruari didn't know anything about the case, offering the stranger help. Genso accepted his offer, having made small talk with the Coatl. The Pearlcatcher learned a lot about Ruari, having pity on the young dragon for his neglected lifestyle; that's when Genso made it her goal to gather enough Treasure to adopt Ruari to her clan. It didn't take the whole day, having found a couple of Familiars that everyone befriended and sold them over to Crim. "Stay here Ruari, I'll be right back!" Genso told Ruari, having the orange tone Coatl wait. Noratorri (the Wildclaw since he wasn't there to hear about the Original Noratorri) watched as she took the first move to talk to Ruari. "So, you're Genso's friend? What brings you here?" Noratorri spoke first, having the Coatl face the deteriorating Wildclaw. Ruari got the sense that she was one of the heads of Genso's clan, but not the true leader, just an ambassador of sorts. "Well, I only met Genso today so I wouldn't call her my friend to be exact; more like an acquaintance," Ruari answered Noratorri, having her sit down next to him. "Kikiki," Noratorri laughed, having Ruari look at her strangely. "Genso isn't one to just become acquaintances with other dragons, there's always a reason why she sticks around others." Noratorri smiled, which was horrifying to Ruari with her bones and teeth peering out. "Ruari! I'm back!" Genso called out to the two, having Noratorri make note of the name of the Coatl next to her; "I got the forms together and now you're apart of our clan!" Ruari teared up, having Noratorri standing up, patting the Coatl on the head. "Well, I should introduce myself since you're going to be here for a while; I'm Noratorri, one of the leaders of the Noratorri clan. Just don't ask if I was named after the clan or the clan was named after me, LunnarSky was the first to name this clan Noratorri." Ruari smiled, wiping away the tears. "Noratorri sounds like a very strong name."
Not all stories end happily, but I was lucky with my happy ending.
