Hymn was one of the first dragons to join the Steppes. She met Bone when they were young, just entering adulthood, as was Hymn. Bone was nervous about suddenly being thrust into a leader role, but Hymn was there to cheer them on the whole time. And without Hymn, the Steppes wouldn't be as great as they are now. The city needed infrastructure, lighting, plumbing, all the modern amenities that dragons can't live without. Hymn gets very focused on her work, and hates it when people doubt her expertise, so she tends to snap at people when too engrossed in engineer work. Besides that, she's a very chill and chipper dragon, and to be honest, the city would fall apart without her.
