Biography

Puck was found by the other dragons; tiny, dirty and hungry, in the outskirts of the lairs. At first, they just thought it was a small fae dragon, a little hatchling needing a home. But then they started growing. And growing. And growing. Soon it was clear that they were not just any dragon, but an imperial. To the other dragons the story kind of stops there. The tiny little hatchling they brought in turned out to be not so tiny, and well, that’s an adorable story to tell at family dinners or something. But Puck knows there’s more. They are not just any dragon.

The memories of the ancient Light Palaces are faint. They were after all just a hatchling when they were driven away. Why they have not really understood, but they know that they can never return. Faint memories of fights, blood, death is lingering in their mind, constantly spinning in their head. The memory of fire burning their wings, as they fell from the sky. The wings don't hurt anymore, but their thin, paperlike, not like anything anyone has ever seen. The distant memories are still there. Reminding them that they must be carrying something that made them hated in their own home, something that means they don’t belong with their family. Their new clan is lovely, but they can’t help but fear that one day whatever it is that forced them to be driven away will show up again.

Towards the other dragons they’re just a bit taciturn, but they’re also a studious little one, who’s happy to look through old scrolls and ancient books. Not looking for something, just reading the old stories of other dragons. They find some sort of peace in it, and is then happy to retell the stories to anyone who wants to listen, or maybe anyone who needs a bit of help with history homework. (Evie) There is something else though. A vague feeling when they read, like a faint scent. Ancient spirits lurking in the old scriptures can sense it too: this gigantic creature seem to have the ability to bring the dead spirits alive. Much like Hamlet and Pluto, and much like Hamlet it is a power they are scared of, even if they have merely sensed the full capability of the power.
