He was a wicked alchemist bent on world domination. She was an impressionable sweet heart who fell madly in love with him. Riordan, this is all his fault. He corrupted her. Her, my mother. Athena was a sweet child until Riordan found her. He decided he would have her all to himself. He wined and dined her, whispered sweet nothings into her ear and made her promises he would never keep. He was pure evil. He made her his in every way. She wouldn't listen to the warning from those around her. Not her parents or his. He taught her everything he knew. She was a fast learner and soon surpassed him in skill. He was thrilled. He kept her skills secret and told her to do the same. Together they created 2 "offspring", Lewsyn and Xanthia. When, some noticed the offspring they brought them to the attention of the elders. The elders saw the truth of them. Riordan and his offspring were assassinated. Athena escaped with her last breath. Athena was angry and heartbroken. She missed her mate and babies. She decided she wanted to start a family again. She found one. She knew she would never love Vee. He was a means to an end. She used him to gain 2 more offspring, Star and Sombra. Soon after, though, she grew tired of him and sent him on his way. When, Star and Sombra, were grown, Athena decided she wanted more babies. She went on the hunt again. This time it was just a fling with a male named Isk this gave her three more offspring Nightfrill, Pilgrim, and Gwyneth. Later, she met a male who's personality was similar to Riordan. His name was Ezra. Ezra was also an alchemist. This time however, he fell madly in love with her. He brought with him 2 offspring of his own Rhoslyn and Satureja. Together they created 2 more offspring Ryuk and Aralyn. We all lived together. My half-sister, Nightfrill, had 4 offspring Singe, Pamuk, Valencia and Trismegistus. I don't remember them well. The elders had found out my mother's secret. They came for us. She told me to stay inside but I didn't listen. My selfness led me affray from the safety of our den and there on the ground lay the corpses of my entire family before me. |

Once the council waged war after rediscovering my existence. The son's of my first mistress, Erythea, were sent to fight. Thyrsis, Bewitched, and Eben. None of them made it back home alive. Before long my mistress grew restless and ran away leaving our daughter, Taunt, in my care. After some time, I had a fling with a beautiful Obsidian Dragoness, Death. She died due to illness, but her sister had entrusted me with a surprise offspring, BlackBerry. Thankfully, Taunt took this situation very well and stepped up as an older sister. They get along very well together. Strangely enough, Months soon after a breathtaking Fae with scales as red as ruby jewels approached me with a proposition. "Nest with me, for I need to complete this challenge." Once the deed had been done she placed 3 eggs into my palm and spread her wings wide before taking off into the sky like an angel. I shall name them Lilac, Phantom, and Benji. Lilac and Benji decided to move on in search of their own care free lives. Phantom was a little different from his siblings... He was hatched like a monster amongst them. Something had spliced his genes in the egg- He decided he would like to become my body guard incase the council decided to enact on a manhunt. He also wanted to put his mutated and insanely strong body to good use. While he was not on watch duty he helped the younger dragons with their chores and assisted the elderly with daily needs. He is a good man, and I am so proud to call him my son. I was approached by a old alchemist, Aurelio, who knew of my mothers accomplishments. He asking if I wanted to partake in a project that involved changing my breed. I agreed eagerly, excited of what I may become. The breed change test went well. I am no longer a Guardian. I've evolved into what they say is an, "Obelisk." It is a foreign breed to where I am from. The test was painful at first. My wings don't fully work yet. But he said with time I will gain full control of my evolved body. Perhaps I will stick out like a sore wing now, But maybe they will also not know it is me.. I decided to let the Alchemist stay at my cavern. His fated mate, Jello, said she would introduce me to a beautiful Obelisk. It has been a while since I was with a woman so I suppose a one night stand couldn't hurt. I met Loralai many times before deciding what was best. We hatched 3 eggs together before parting ways. I named them, Carlisle, Petunia, and Anemone. Loralai comes around occasionally to take care of them while I am busy with my other children. |
