Biography

Maiya oversaw the small glen hidden among withering, twisting trees, most of the grass trampled flat and dead beneath the large bodies of her fellow Imperials. A wicked grin curved her maw as she lay curled along the small hill above. Everything is coming along nicely... only several more elements are required for the ressurection....

Her feathers ruffled in the wind that blew past and her nose picked up a particularly metallic scent. Quickly, her eyes flicked towards the shadows at the edge of the clearing and she huffed, her earthen gaze meeting bright crimson in the dark.

It's them again...Maiya studied them as they lingered just out of sight, glaring darkly at the Wildclaw leading the pack.

Harper was a valuable tool to aiding in her... quest, but the Imperials that had taken to him refused to view her as equal to him; or higher, as they truly should've. They were Imperials for the Eleven's sake! The Lightweaver's most prized creations, and undoubtedly the strongest Draconic breed! Yet, they followed this silly, weak little blood drinking Wildclaw? For what, admiration? Power? They could easily overpower Harper despite his vampiric abilities - they had their own as well, after all. Bloodrose and Roselin were all too enamored with Harper, despite the Wildclaw being such a reclusive, reserved, repulsive creature. Surely the two sisters should know their worth and their overwhelming strength. It was quite honestly sickening to see those of her species following the commands of such an unworthy dragon.

Even though Maiya wanted to use them in the resurrection, she wasn't sure if their vampiric nature would ruin or corrupt her perfect Emperor, and even so; they wanted no part in her plan.

Perhaps she would try anyway. After all, once they were gone from this world she'd be able to take their bodies and elemental power anyways, because Earth was the original element. She'd be able to control it all, without a doubt.

So, Maiya turned her gaze away, ignoring the soft chimes of the jewelry as Harper settled into his own den among the clearing. Serana was no where to be found at the moment, so the two Imperial sisters settled protectively within their own dugout dens beside Harper's own, murmuring in low tones, though the rumble of their voices echoed throughout the clearing. Maiya tried to listen, to hear if they were speaking bad of her or plotting against her, her ears perking as she licked her fangs, but she simply couldn't make out what they were talking about.

More than a little miffed, Maiya turned her gaze to her slumbering brethren. Tabitha was curled up as close as the young dragon could get to Maiya's hill, and Maiya loved how starstruck she was. She was so young and naive, following Maiya blindly and putting forth all of her effort into making Maiya's dreams come true; dreams that were Tabitha's dreams as well, because of her admiration for the older Imperial. The fact that she was a pure third generation Imperial was only all the better for them.

Arashi still seemed tense and suspicious even in his sleep. Of course, Maiya was an incredible liar and he only needed to stick around for a little while longer while she drew in a few other Imperials of various elements. He was sleeping away from the pack, curled up with himself and settled somewhat uncomfortably between a few trees and shrubs. It was amusing how much distrust he had for her and yet how he still remained. Perhaps because he enjoyed the familial atmosphere of the Guild that he hadn't received from his prestigious family. He was also a pure pedigree Imperial like Maiya, both birthed from a pair of first generation Imperials.

He would also be vital to the resurrection process. The more pure the Imperials were that could fuse after death, the stronger the Emperor they would become. Unfortunately, not all of those who were of a pure generational line could be swayed by Maiya's honeyed words. Tabitha had gifted her with Amarissa, a lucky third gen like herself, but others like ERROR were unfortunately not from pure lineage. Still, she would take as much power as she could get.

Yet still there were obstacles for her to overcome, obstacles that were namely—

A burst of bright flames exploded into the air, followed by a vicious roar and a rumble that shook the ground. Maiya couldn't help but growl.

Empress.

An Imperial born from the heart of a volcano, blessed by the Flamecaller. Overwhelming in her power and heat, yet she refused to bow to anyone. An insufferable thorn in Maiya's side. She and Erebus both defied all that Maiya stood for. It was so unfortunate; having a pure-born Primal body to fuse with would increase the Emperor's power by an incredible amount. Yet Empress refused. She was blind, she couldn't see all the ways they could rule; the way that they could become the Twelfth deity, that their conscience could outweigh that of Luminax, who tormented the Lightweaver's territory, such a said, failed creation— but Maiya could prevail. She could become the strongest being, she could rise to the top of the eleven dragon dieties and she could rule everything.

It was only a matter of time, now.
