Altair used his highly skilled swordsmanship and shadow magic to aid his clan into raiding other clans. One day, Altair , along with a couple of clanmates were raiding a clan around the Sunportal, and unbeknownst to them, shady magic practices were being held there. Because of that, Altair ended up being struck by the magic aftermath, killing the practitioners and some of his clanmates, which made things more complicated. Because of that, Altair could barely control his power at the time, and was too dangerous to stay in the clan. Until finally he left his home to the Starfall Isles in hopes of finding guidance and answers of his new life.
