“It’s the draconic equivalent of a sneeze that just won’t happen. She’s displayed incredible magical abilities in the wackiest of fashions (may have left a few strange landmarks in the clan) as well as a deep understanding of every dragons’ problems and said problems’ origins. She barely even had to offer to provide a magical solution to fix everyone before they were all clamoring for her to do so.

She agreed, put on a brilliant show of flames and fireworks, and then told everyone the spell was in the works. They were impatient but had no other choice but to wait, so wait they did. Hours passed, then days, then years. They occasionally check back on her to see if she’s done yet, but she never has anything to provide but ‘it’s in the works’. Sometimes her magic flares up and the clan gets excited, but then it dials back again and she tells them ‘oh well, give it a bit more time’

Perhaps, she’s secretly trying to teach everyone a lesson that they need to take the initiative for themselves rather than relying on magical fix-alls, but nobody has taken the hint yet.”
