To the humans of the Ionian highlands, his name has long been synonymous with wild festivals, uncontrollable parties, and anarchic music. Few would suspect this energetic, traveling showman is also partner to the rebel Xayah, and is dedicated to her cause.❞

Rakan is, at his heart, an entertainer. Charming and talented, he followed his lover Xayah to the Scarred Wasteland on her quest to restore lost arcane secrets to the ever-encroaching boneyard. He was taken in by Creep and Crawl's clan when he demonstrated both a capability to fight and a talent for dance, and serves as clan bard while he stays.

Wine claims he is "the best thing to join the clan in a long time," — bringing some much needed life and energy back into Creep's ragged village. Funny, romantic, and with a good sense of humor, Rakan knows how to be the life of the party. Despite that, he's a bit of a fool, and likes to act before he thinks, or just forego the thinking part altogether.

Underneath the bright and flashy facade, Rakan is sensitive and emotionally honest, with a passion for both Xayah and her cause. He has a talent for healing magic, and a love of nature and beautiful things.
