From a family of mutated dragons that have no skin Bruise lived a relatively sheltered childhood, when growing up he was trained hard by his father to be ready when his Search started.

His urge to find his charge came earlier than most Guardians, before even he reached his full maturity, but nothing could stop him, nor did his parents tried. He wandered the Wastes for a few years before finding the clan, knwing with all his might that whatever was his charge it was there.
The leaders of the clan together with their council permited Bruise to enter their domains as long as he sweared them loyalty and without missing a beat he did, he found his charge in the many nests of the clan, hovering near and protecting them from any and all creature thay may present threat, becoming officially a Nest Guard after some time.
