"Don't be scared; I don't mean any harm."

The last in the trio of otherworldly tricksters is a pearlcatcher named Lumi, coming to the clan with Bates. She was named after how the capsule gene on her glows with a strange light. The jewels on her reflect this light, giving her an overall fluorescent image. She is significantly nicer than her friends, being more willing to particpate in clan activities. However, she is not without her secrets, as wispy smoke constantly swirls around her to obscure her appearance.

Lumi was very young when she came to Sornieth, following Bates out of the portal that had spawned in their original world. She doesn't remember much of that world, but she does know that she must hide her true form at all costs. Her Ice magic is weaker than Awai's, but stronger than Bates's, with her natural glow stemming from her otherworldly abilities.

Over a year after she first came to the clan, Lumi was tasked by Peregrine to gather magical crystals from the Starfall Isles, happily obliging. While she foraged, she proceeded to be a witness to the opening of the Forbidden Portal, unleashing eldritch monstrosities on the land. To her surprise, she recognized many of the monstrosities that had spawned: they had come from her original world, like Awai and Bates had. She prematurely ended her foraging and went home before anyone could recognize her, deciding against telling the clan about the portal. While Peregrine was disappointed at the lack of resources, he quickly forgave her. While the clan eventually found out about the Forbidden Portal through their own means, she still kept the secret of the portal to herself, not even telling it to her fellow monsters.
