Penny, one of only two devoted noncombatants in a clan that prides itself on its martial ability, is an avid peacemaker. She attempts to settle disputes where they arise, whether they occur between clanmates or with outsiders. As far as she is concerned, no excuse is a good excuse to resort to violence.

When travelers stop to rest their wings or hatchlings in need of a warm nest are found in the forest, Penny is inevitably the first to welcome them in and the last to ask them to leave. If left to her own devices, she would have undoubtedly filled the lair (and possibly several other lairs) with orphans and misfits.

She is a warmhearted dragon... occasionally to the dismay of those who live with her. Penny has a habit of "liberating" the intended meals of her less herbivorous clanmates, and never turns away a stranger who needs a place to stay. Her sweet demeanor generally dissuades those who disagree with her charitable acts from protesting too loudly. Even if they did protest, the other Tundras are far too fond of Penny to allow any harm to come to her.
