Nestled off to the western side of Axial Hill is an unassuming food stand, selling noodle dishes of all kinds. The owner is Beryl, an experienced chef that serves soups of many kinds. Despite its isolation from the marketplace, the shop sees plenty of business from many residents of Astéri Lune- some patrons even travel from Astéri Sōlis just for some of Beryl's fare.

Previously a vagrant, Beryl settled into the clan on a whim, finding it rather charming. Plus, the location was favorable to her to search for premium ingredients, as well as the ease of access to the community cropland. Her food stand is small, but she prefers it this way, feeling it has a homey, welcoming atmosphere. She can idly chat with patrons while fixing their meal for them, instead of working out of sight.

When Mito, a fellow vagrant fledgling ended up at Astéri Lune, Beryl immediately opened her home to her. She, too, had been a vagrant from a young age, but didn't do so out of wanderlust- rather, she didn't have a choice. Not wanting a similar fate for Mito, she took her in and eagerly provided everything she could need. Rather than being a parental figure, the two see themselves as sisters. Mito helps out at the food stand where she can, and Beryl teaches her how to properly cook.

Beryl is a very kind and approachable dragon, always greeting others with a warm smile. She tries to spend time with all her clanmates, but respects the dragons that prefer to be alone. She does have a habit of trying too hard to cook for others, just wanting to bond over a nice bowl of soup. To her, warm, fresh food made with love is the greatest thing one could offer, and wants everyone to have the opportunity to partake in her life's work. It's not out of a desire to brag about her skills, but it can come off in that way to some.

She incorporates all sorts of ingredients for the various dishes she makes, and uses several different types of noodles, from rice, to buckwheat, and even vegetable pasta. Beryl works hard to take every kind of diet into consideration, but finds bug dishes to be the hardest for her to make. Oftentimes, she'll head over to her insectivore clanmates' to ask their opinion on what arthropods to include. These are the only soups of hers that she's hesitant to serve, but many claim that the flavors work together well regardless.
