Штормер - бесстрашный и умелый дракон - Ноктюрн, занимающий должность добытчика электрических земель Сорниета. Штормер единственный во всем клане достаточно выносливый, чтобы исследовать столь опасные земли. Штормер вырос в Движущимся Просторе, но он покинул родные земли, дабы найти свое предназначение и новый клан.

Партнер Штормера - Технеон, интеллигентная дракониха - Ловец Жемчугов, работающая инженером. Штормер познакомился с ней в институте и с тех пор они всегда вместе. Штормер помогает Технеон, принося необходимые запчасти и инструменты. Хоть и Штормер не обладает большими знаниями в области инженерии, он с радостью готов помочь своей любимой.
