Morana was given the name Crystal by her mother upon birth. She lived under her wing for many decades, as she was instructed to become the new Ethereal River clan leader in Sora's absence. As such, she became an excellent scryer with extraordinary spiritual powers.

When the time came to take sides though, she rebelled and chose the Secret Garden. To sever the ties with her past she took the name Morana, the same of a powerful ancient druid, hoping to channel her incredible shamanic powers. She quickly became one of the most powerful druids of the sanctuary, so much that when Adamantine and her daughter suddenly disappeared she took part in the triumvirate established to cover the vacuum in power.

There are dragons who still think that her rebellion was nothing but a farce to become Sora's little spying pawn, but they seldom voice their opinion and most dragons trust Morana as a wise and powerful leader.

Her calm and melanchonic demeanor make her powers more tuned during autumn, and this is reflected in her aesthetic and attire.
