The Wirehunter/That Crazy Dragon Who Lives In The Walls

Stormdance literally lives in the Machine, and as such is almost never seen outside of a full black bodysuit, dancing around the insides of the machine that spans haphazardly throughout the entire clan's cavern system. He's on the maintenance team; a spiral's size is mostly in length, leaving them capable of getting into a lot of things most dragons can't even begin to believe anything can get into.

In the aftermath following the fate of Kaletheon, a 0.45 meter fae who had seemingly been around since the clan's inception, there were very few willing to take his place for fear of a repeat. Either fortunately or unfortunately, Stormdance wasn't around for that incident, and was more than willing to step up and do what he could. It's his doing that there are spiral pathways all throughout the machine now, with exits and entryways so that there are no one-way areas.

He takes extreme pride in his work, and in being able to dash in and fix anything. At this point, he might know the Machine better than anyone. He also can get anywhere inside the clan in a matter of minutes, using boreholes and shortcuts through what counts as ventillation shafts, so he often serves as a messenger as well as mechanic and electrician.

He's also almost never seen fully outside of the sprawling machine either- like a sea snake in the water, the most any tend to see is of coils arcing outside and diving right back into another entryway. It's earned him a variety of nicknames - most of which he himself is happy to take on and go by to the point where he doesn't seem to have any official, actual name that all dragons know.

Stormdance is proud and determined, with a sharp eye and a strangely intentional step for a spiral. No matter how fast he moves, there are no moves he makes that he doesn't mean to, and he knows where everything around him is at all times. He talks, sometimes, about being able to 'feel' the machine and where it's going, or where it's weaker or overburdened, by sensing the energy around him. He isn't fond of being outside of it for too long, either, getting antsy that he can't automatically intuit his surroundings.

According to him, the Machine is a living thing.

According to the other dragons, Stormdance is a little bit strange. Useful, but quite possibly crazy.
