 an official Lionfyre baby, bred by @nymble Most wildclaws aren't as attuned to magic as other breeds. The same can't be said for Ashbel, who had flames dance from his claws from the moment he hatched. He started out a mage and a hunter, burning prey to capture and kill it, rather than chasing it down and biting. But this wasn't the life for him, he wanted to create, he wanted to be something, not just another hunter. So he took to the forge. He heats his metal himself rather than using the embers, fireproof scales warmed by the molten metal he handles. Some say he's not quite organic himself, but as he never shows his face, it's not so simple to tell. |

A cyborg of his own design, the plates along Ashbel's body vent heat, as his core is still very much a mortal dragon, and he can still overheat even while being fireproof. Not burning doesn't mean not getting too warm. |

Another heat vent, this mask is both his exhaust and his channel while he works, his flame magic a useful tool together with it to aide in his metalworking. Some say the smoke that comes from it forms hands to aide him, but one can't be too sure that it's not a trick of the light. |
