A loyal engineer to the Midnight Seclusion, Goby’s mind is cluttered with fantastical ideas for his next tasks. His head is filled with images of spinning and whirring gears creating his newest mechanical endeavor; always trying to top his fellow engineer, Chlorophyte. Goby has a dignified and polished way with words and seems quite well-kept, but he struggles with staying that way with his projects; often jumping from one to another in a disorganized fashion. His dwelling is dark and dusty with various mechanical parts strewn across the floor. Towering skeletons of deserted machines line the walls, full of potential, but forgotten. Goby’s current projects lie under sheets of white cloth aching to be unveiled.
Despite his lack of efficiency, some of Goby’s endeavors are successful. He holds great pride in the small finished projects he has revealed to his clan and enjoys being valued and useful to his clanmates. The thought of impressing Clawrake, the clan’s chief guard, makes Goby work harder and believe he has something to work towards. Without his admiration for her, his struggles finishing his machines would be supplementary.
