My precious... 
DyingRose saved and tamed the Undying Featherback you see with him.
His name is Peppersnap, and DyingRose found him on the boarders of the Plague lands. He had recently been kicked out of his pack (after they severely hurt him) and he was limping along, trying to find a place to hide. DyingRose managed to show his trust to him, and led him back to Sirion Lair, where he was normally left alone at first. Peppersnap and DyingRose got along well, however, because neither was respected as an equal among the Sirions... yet. DyingRose had only joined them just recently, and most of the dragons spent their time away from him because of his oddness (they tend to do that a lot). DyingRose and Peppersnap got each other, and became close friends. The Sirions were in awe that DyingRose tamed a Featherback, and soon respected him equally. Not long after, they found that Peppersnap wasn't like most Featherbacks, and got used to him, as well. They soon treated him higher than any other living thing besides dragons, since he could do everything they could and was only smaller than them by a little. Peppersnap now treats the Sirions as his loyal pack - his family - and protects the Sirions from strangers and dangers. No one enters Sirion Lair without a stealthy jump upon the back that knocks all down, multiple sniffs, and either a friendly lick or a stab of his tusks - from Peppersnap.
