Perlstein has been fully trained by Barsalla and Wasserden, effectively taking over their roles for them. Now he has a sort of playful rivalry with Wasserden, who struggles to make sense of his methodology at times.
He is very close friends with Enigma, and the two sometimes exchange information for their careers.
He loves making clothing and sometimes blacksmithing, and has a job as a tailor when he's not teaching.
He puts a lot of pressure on himself, but seems to thrive on it. He only takes critique from those he considers above him and can sometimes be boneheaded as a result. Despite this, he does mean well.
