Melodramatic Sullen Spendthrift Vesper spends way more money than he can afford, and so he is constantly broke and trying to sell his poetry. He loves luxurious clothes and accessories. Cursed Poet

Vesper is a slow but very attentive worker. He wrote a lot of beautiful lyric poems, but he is often sidetracked by indolence, emotional distress and illness. Coupled with his habits as a dandy and free-spender, he is therefore always struggling with his poor health, pressing debts, and irregular literary output. As such, he used to be travelling from Clan to Clan, making a bit of money with his poems, before quickly leaving to hide from debt collectors. He is rather thankfull to have found the Chiroptera Cult, as the Cult is willing to both offer him protection in exchange for poetry, and overlook his spending habits. He's even found a friend in Fig, the Cult's bard and poet, though his poetry is much lighter in its themes.

His poems, usually met with mixed feelings from dragons, are generally appreciated from members of the Cult. Indeed, the principal themes of sex and death are considered scandalous or too heavy by some dragons, but the Cultists are usually unfazed by them. His poems have touched on lesbianism, sacred and profane love, metamorphosis, melancholy, the corruption of the city, lost innocence, the oppressiveness of living, and wine. He's known for his use of imagery of the sense of smell and of fragrances, which is used to evoke feelings of nostalgia and past intimacy.
