Erupeted

Like his brother, Erupted has a fascination, but with fire. The way the flame dances so uncontrollably, the destruction of the world from just one single spark, the way it clashes so badly with the wind. Unfortunately, he did not learn the importance of methodical studying or safety procedures from Verona and often clashes with Tealius, who has to put out all of his fires.

Burning

Tealius worked hard in his room, his Chillriver Bucktooth scuttling around.

"What do you see here?" Tealius asked, looking at an isolated snowflake under a microscope. "I'm pretty sure this is an O-2I-1EO, and we already have that."

The familiar leant into the microscope, and nodded in agreement.

"Well in the melter it goes." Tealius took the snowflake and dropped it into a bin of water before returning to the experiment. "Mark that as a fa-"

The dragon grew silent. "Do you hear that?"

The bucktooth listened for a moment, before racing towards their Pyromaniac Containment Weapon Systems and slamming on the red buttons.

Tealius jumped into action. Suiting up with cooling armour, he grabbed his ice gun and ran.

Outside, Erupted laughed maniacally. "Fire. Fire everywhere! Now I can finally find out how it spreads!"

And fire was everywhere. The Zephyr Steppes were completely alight, with dragons escaping and abandoning their lairs.

"Codammit!" Tealius started to shoot, propelling giant blocks of ice everywhere. As they melted, they released enormous amounts of water, drenching dragons still in the lair, but putting out the fire. Meanwhile, a giant claw came down and grabbed Erupted by the wings, before shaking him of all firestarting tools and putting him in a cage.

"YOU CAN'T STOP ME! I SHALL CONSUME THE WORLD IN FIRE AND FLAME! THE FIRE NEVER STOPS!" Erupted pulled out... something from his wings. "THE LAVANATO-"

"The lavanator? Really?" Topaze asked as she came out of the lair. "I'm dissapointed in you, Erupted. Name your ultimate weapons of doom better."

"Not helping, Topaze!" Tealius shouted whilst playing keep-away with Erupted.

"ERUPTED COME OVER HERE RIGHT.NOW." Another voice boomed.

"...And I'm dipping out. See ya!" Whilst Topaze slipped into the darkness, Amethist walked out with a screwdriver. She jumped up and grabbed the "lavanator" from him. "You are a dissapointment sometimes."

"Bu-"

"LOOK AT THIS CODE. THIS SPAGHETTI, TERRIBLE, USELESS CODE. AND THE DESIGN IS SO BADLY MADE THAT I COULD MAKE SOMETHING BETTER WITH MY HANDS BEHIND MY BACK. I EXPECTED BETTER FROM YOU ERUPTED. NOW GET INSIDE BECAUSE WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER TALK ABOUT ORGANIZATION."

Over the sounds of shouting and the occasional whimper, Tealius sighed. "No sleep for any of us tonight, huh."
