“Head like Steel, Soul of Gold, and a Heart, that’s made of Glass.”

The small, doll-like Fae raises their head as you approach them, their peridot eyes glimmering. “Hello there stranger.” They greet you, adjusting the purple bow that rests on their head. “My name is Razor.” They tell you, folding their wings back. You furrow your eyebrows and they laugh. “I know. Doesn’t really fit me, does it?” They turn back to the river with curious eyes, watching the fish swim by. “My name is Razor because since I was brought alive, I’ve been ‘sharp’ and ‘cunning’.” They explain, putting a porcelain claw in the water, watching it swell around them. “And when I say ‘brought alive’...well, that’s a long story.” They pat the riverbank beside them. “Come. Sit.”

Early Life
Razor, unlike the other dragons in their kingdom, is not a real, living breathing bleeding dragon. Much like the human tale known as “Pinocchio”, Razor began as a small, inanimate, porcelain dragon doll, made for hatchlings to play with. One day though, the dragonet who owned Razor got bored of the doll not doing anything on its own, so she asked her mother (who just happened to be a witch) to make the doll more interesting. Only doing what her daughter asked, her mother cast an animation spell on the doll, bringing them to life. Because the doll was designed to be gender neutral, Razor identifies as non binary, and will only wear ribbons.

Despite not being living, Razor grew as time passed. They went from being only one foot tall to three feet, though they still remain quite small. They don’t eat, drink, breathe, or sleep, so they had a lot of free time once the dragonet outgrew playing with them. Once the family got rid of them, they decided they should try to find a kingdom that would acknowledge them as a dragon too. After hearing some rumours about a kingdom that accepted any sort of dragon, Razor decided to head out to find the magical land known as Crystalrune.
