Palaemon was discovered by Mandrake and War on a hunt, on the border of The Sea of a Thousand Currents and Dragonhome. He was injured, and so they dragged him back to the Caves to have Rikki treat him. When he came to, he revealed that he was washed ashore when a devastating typhoon ravaged the Tidelord's domain. He stuck around the caves until he felt he could travel again, after which his first destination was back to the shoreline of The Sea of a Thousand Currents, finding it drastically changed. He sought out answers, eventually finding that the typhoon was the cause of all the destruction, and even worse, the disappearance of the Tidelord, to whom Palaemon was fiercely devoted. The knowledge that he is no longer able to communicate with his god devastated him.
















He spent much of that time sitting at the border of Dragonhome and The Sea of a Thousand Currents, weeping alone into the water, mourning the loss of his home and his god. He had a deep connection to the water and the water flight in the past, and his old clan was nowhere to be found, thus he felt he had nowhere to go. Often, he was visited by Sucellus, though the two rarely spoke. When they did, Sucellus managed to convince Palaemon to stay in the Caves, as he was unable to bare being in the Tidelord's domain any longer- though, the Caves were hardly a home to him yet either. So, upon moving in permanently, he and Sucellus dug out a deep pool in the underground garden, that Paleamon now maintains. He is still deeply saddened by his loss, though, the nature dragons are helping him through his hard times.
