He never asked for this fate. When the dragon gave him the old key, he thought it was nothing, maybe just a collectable.
Now he wears the clock key around his neck at all time, protected by a locket. He can't afford to have it broken- or worse- stolen. In the wrong claws... he can't bear to think about it.

Darkspell is the keeper of the key for the gate of time. He fears what he must carry, and the risk of it being taken stops him from getting to close to others. He knows he must go through the gate- he must find the dragon who gave him this burden- but fear keeps him where he stays.
