Seratiel

She's a cowgirl with a pet vulture. Makes sense. Seratiel, or just Sera for short, is your average cowgirl. She views herself as the sheriff of this here town, and is the law of the land. And by law she means that she just wants people to try to follow the rules and stay safe. Her sense of justice relies on how safe everyone is, which often means she might be bending the rules a bit, but does it really matter that much if everyone in the situation comes out unharmed?

Besides, a little bit of property damage is easily fixed with some magic or a construction crew, but actual living lives? Not so much. Anyways, Sera's pet vulture, Rock, is a tiny little demon bird. Birds should not have hands apparently, because Rock is often using his for terror. And by terror, Sera means scrawling drawings all over the walls of her home, accidentally ripping her curtains and blankets, and often making towers out of delicate and expensive items that reached the roof.

Nonetheless, she loved her bird. Why did she name him Rock you may ask? Well, she found her vulture's egg in a pile of rocks, and by brilliant association, decided that this was a sign that his name should be Rock. Also he tried to eat a rock once which was pretty funny until she had to get him to throw it up so that he wouldn't get sick. Good times. Her bird is basically a dog, a cat, and a parrot combined, and she loves him, having raised him ever since he hatched.

The amount of baby toys she's had to buy for her beloved terror bird and having dragons ask "Oh, is that for your hatchling?" and Sera having to say "Nope, it's for my vulture. He keeps chewing them up. He doesn't even have teeth" and she 100% loves every second of their reactions. She also has a crush. A big big crush on an awesome dragon who is also super cool and tries to flirt with him but isn't that good at it. Still, she tries, and she thinks she's getting better and she's all for self-improvement.

She talks to him a lot, and loves to hang out with him. He's just really nice to her, and is so interesting to talk to. Sera listens to his stories and finds herself completely entranced in his voice. Her vulture also likes him a lot, and if her bird thing likes him, then it's immediately a good thing. Familiars just seem to know who the good dragons are. She also tries to write poetry. It's a hobby of hers, and she's trying to learn, but she just can't seem to get it right, but you know what? She's having fun and that's what matters most. He will listen to her read her poems and the smile on his face when she does is genuinely one of the best feelings in her life.
