Poplar Brightbaron (she/her + ae/aer)

Friends:
Poplar hales from a Light clan esteemed for their pursuit of knowledge and science, even amongst their ever-studious peers. However, ae quickly grew weary of aer family's endlessly rising standards, and eventually struck out on aer own to find new, fulfilling areas of study.
During this pilgrimage she discovered a deep love and appreciation for the natural world, and nursed a hobby in gardening. Plants were incredible things: they made beautiful geometric patterns by pure coincidence, or could help in healing the sick and injured; science, art, and worldly things coalescing into a vast array of natural resources, ripe with potential.
These days, she owns a tea shop with her partner, Flowers, which specializes in home-made, loose leaf blends served hot and fresh to your table. Vibrant and earthy flavors pair beautifully alongside aesthetic sweets (also made in-house). Poplar prides herself on her craft and is known to be something of a perfectionist. While she has no issue whipping up new recipes or painstakingly decorating tiny tea cakes, she struggles with the marketing side of things.
