Sykion is Amaranth's Guardian charge and her first mate, and a progenitor dragon of her flight. They've had some difficulty communicating in the past, but he's learned to exaggerate his expressions, read hers, and speak with tones! He's quite good at this, if he could say so himself. (His tones sound like Spock's.)

He has joined her in battle and retired with her, but may be interested in going back once his flightmate Auriga is up to training him again. It was great fun until they met those lousy stone cats.

He enjoys dressing up and pretending to have more prestige / be more mysterious than he is, and generally kids around with the group. For the Trickmurk Circus, he enjoyed "riding on the coattails (get it? Get it? Amaranth, do you get it -)" up until the day before the Mistral Jamboree. Now he's a "rogue archer" and has been gently shooting soft-tip arrows at his flightmates before throwing food and/or flowers at them. No one has stopped him yet, so he's begun thinking about doing this outside of his own clan...

(He won't admit it, but he loves Amaranth's colors. He'll imitate them when the most recent festival loses his fancy.)
