Og1YQAN.png 		Deryl came to Amaranth's flight from another - he wasn't ready to face the front lines yet, as much as he liked and appreciated his original flight's deity, the Icewarden. It felt a bit like a betrayal to flee from there to join another deity's flight. Nevertheless, Amaranth and her flight welcomed him with open wings. They assured him there was no need to rush to Windsinger's side in battle. He would go to a deity of his choice when he was ready.

(It still felt a little weird to be benefiting from a deity's hard work and all of their flights' contributions without giving anything in return, but he would have to work his feelings about that out later. For now, it was relaxing to rest in the Zephyr Steppes, to fly in skies that felt like they were made just for him - or he for them.)
