Seraph panted hard as her mother watched her closely from the ground as she flew her 49th lap around the clan. “One more” Seraph thought. “Just one more.” Finishing the last lap, her mother looked at her approvingly, and said “15 minutes and 12 seconds. You made good time.” Seraph sighed with relief and they continued on with training.

Every young Nephilim was trained to defeat the shade, just like Seraph. As Seraph grew older though, she wanted to learn more, so she searched for an Arcane clan to take her in. She wanted to research alternate applications for runes, so Seraph searched far and wide, all across Sornieth for an Arcane clan that would take her in.

After flying for days on end, Seraph felt like she was going to fall out of the sky. So she landed and promptly blacked out. When she awoke she didn’t realize were she was and stood bolt upright. Remembering blacking out, she relaxed. Taking a look at her surroundings she noticed she was surrounded by Arcane nests. “Huh, that’s weird, the eggs are floating.” Then she realized, “Arcane nests! I’m in an Arcane clan! This is a sign from the Lightweaver. This is where I am meant to be.”

Seraph still lives there, researching runes to her heart's desire.
