One of the most knowledgeable inventors in Clan Riss, Cassia specializes in forging and enchanting items for battle, most especially the latter. Though she knows her way around a smithy, most of her time is spent imbuing items created by the clan's other crafters with a variety of magical elements, including the size-changing enchantments on armour and clothing and protections against the elements. When not busy with her primary job of handling the gear of the clan's warriors and mages, she can often be found bespelling toys for hatchlings or examining the wards on various lair structures.

Cassia's family is noteworthy within the clan, and has lived here since her great-grandfather's generation. As such she is well-versed in many of the clan's traditions and peculiarities. In terms of personality, Cassia is innovative but serious. She does not use magic frivolously, and most of her enchantments are subtle, unless she is deliberately constructing them to be illusions or distractions. Despite her occupation, she favours physical force over healing or casting on the battlefield, and believes that all forms of strength must be respected.
