Biography

Once a traveling chef, Snakestep joined the clan a while back, won over by Spicer the Pearlcatcher. Now he spends his days in the kitchen with his apprentice Hawkore making enough food for all the dragons he has to feed. He will admit though, no matter how many dragons he must cook for, this is much better than wandering.

Snakestep has a funny few habits that give his name more credibility than he'd like to admit. One such thing is the fact that his forked tongue will always snap out to gently flick a new dragon and identify them; another is how terribly weak he is to the cold (hence all of his apparel being warm and cozy- Snakestep just can't handle the cold at all!). There's not a mean bone in his body, however, so if that's where you think his name came from, you're very mistaken.

Some say cooking to be a form of art, an expression of creativity - before me I see an artist of sorts, someone with love for his profession. With such an important and valued job comes a certain likeability, a natural appreciation for the cook who fills the clan's bellies. Dragons fan of spice especially are all familiar with the chef's famous spicy magpie or it's vegan counterpart, ashfall prickler patty.

Snakestep is a name always mentioned with a smile and a hungry rumble in the tummy.
