Are was a very strange Guardian, even as a hatchling. She was prone to dizzy spells, and fits of sudden aggression. She was alienated by everyone as a result of this.

Eventually, she learned that inside of her was a powerful, malevolent... THING known as Ti. This came to a climax in her adolescent years, when pieces of her skin began to crack off like china glass, revealing parts of what could presumably be known as Ti’s true form. Through sheer force of will, she was able to keep Ti from breaking out completely and destroying everything she loved.

Ever since then, she has traveled the world, now known as “Arti”, given that her body is now half controlled by her, and half controlled by Ti.
