||The Fallen Star||



A tiny hatchling fell from the heavens one night as the clans night watch saw what they believed to be a shooting star, a fairly common occurrence on the Isle but not one that usually results in a infant landing at full speed on your doorstep. Confused, Nocni brought the child to the clans healer for a once over and she was given a clean bill of health despite seemingly crashing through the atmosphere. She was oddly cold to the touch but this was brushed off as simple ice magic. She latched onto Meteora as a sort of surrogate mother and the twos space bound origins didn't go ignored. Her glorious star coated body wasn't uncommon to see among other dragons but what was odd was the cold air she radiated, some said it was the cold air of space itself coming off of her. Some began to realise that her star pattern always reflected the point in the sky right above the lair. Meta has been hailed as a star of the Isle that wanted a home so badly it took dragon form to be with them. Others think a careless parent dropped an egg from way up high but neither story can be proven for sure.

Meta has taken up the role as escort dragon, guiding dragons to and from the lair on whatever business they might have. Her impressive knowledge of the stars enables her to get where she needs to come rain or shine. To keep herself safe she uses magic to grow large shards of ice which her cold aura stops from melting, even in the Ashfall Wastes! (Though she does struggle to keep it up around direct fire and lava.)
